Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use fantastisch.mx, regardless of ability or the technology they use. This statement explains where we stand and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and Germany's Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG). As a freelance operation that falls within the BFSG's "microenterprise" category, we are likely exempt from its obligations for services (§ 3 (3) BFSG) — we follow the standard as a voluntary commitment, because accessibility is part of building each page, not an afterthought.

Conformance status

This website is designed to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. We are currently completing a formal accessibility assessment (automated testing, keyboard-only walkthroughs and screen-reader checks); this statement will be updated with the outcome and dated accordingly.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
  • Every interactive element is operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Text and interface colours are chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
  • The site works without client-side JavaScript wherever static content allows.
  • Third-party content such as maps is loaded only on request, so it never interferes with the base experience.

Known limitations

  • The payment and address fields at checkout are provided by Stripe and embedded in frames on our own page. Their accessibility is outside our control.
  • Interactive maps are provided by OpenStreetMap and load only after you choose to open them.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the market surveillance authority responsible for the accessibility of products and services under the BFSG, the central Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF).
