§ II — About this event

"Sticken in neuen Territorien" at ACI Dresden.

"What brought us here?" is a question you can answer with a date and an address, or you can answer with a needle.

This session at ACI Dresden runs as part of the 2026 Interkulturelle Tage. Bring your photographs. You stitch into them, adding what each image brings up: a feeling, a memory, what a person in the picture means. No embroidery experience needed, all other materials provided.

What matters is what surfaces when you sit with a picture long enough to stitch into it. The thread doesn't illustrate an answer. It holds one in place while you find the words, or decides you don't need them.

Registration by 20 September 2026 via info@fantastisch.mx, or use "Book a spot" on this page.
